Course IntroductionSports Medicine has been a part of Skyline's curriculum since the 2003-2004 school year. Students participate as student aides after school, working with our school's athletic trainer, athletes and coaches while applying hands on skills learned in the classroom. Students will also participate in a job shadow of a medical professional of their choice. All sports medicine students have the opportunity to participate in HOSA's and the Washington Career & Technical Sports Medicine Association's competition each spring through CLUB MED. Students finishing the sports medicine program leave with extensive medical knowledge that can be applied to any healthcare career and/or their personal lives.
